Club memberships are payable annually for the financial year from 1 July to 30 June. New members who join after 1 January are entitled to a reduced half-year membership rate.
All memberships include access to club facilities and events, free instruction for beginners and flying skills coaching to AMAS certificate standard.
Sunset Soaring Club is affiliated with the AMAS, Australian Miniature Aerosports Society. Intending members must also join AMAS which provides public liability insurance for our activities, training guidelines and liaises with the Federal aviation regulator CASA (the Civil Aviation Safety Authority) on behalf of model aircraft clubs – see How to Join.
